cherry-pick

I particularly like the name cherry-pick because it corresponds to ‘branch’ in git.

Process:

• Idea
  • Uses symmetrical composition and a circular decorative background. Also thought about the presentation of the git branching model concept and the placement of the Prunus avium ‘Stella’ flower (deprecated).
    

• Rough
  

• Light and shadow
  • Specified preliminary lighting effects and element placement.
    
• Color rough
  • Use a highly saturated color to highlight the main subject (cherry).
    

• Lineart
  

• Rendering the character
  • To increase the amount of information, use linear hatching instead of smooth gradients at the transitions of the folds.
    
• Rendering the background
  • Saturation decreases from the center of vision to the edges of the picture.
    
• Gaussian blur
